10/21/08 (added spiritual essence)

  • God Created the Universe. (9/7/08)
I cannot fathom a universe that exists from nothing, so the universe must have come into existence as the result of some intentional act. However irrational, right now, I insist only believing that even if physics shows that a universe can spontaneously come into being, the frame work for that possibility must already be in place. (9/1/08)
  • God Created Us to Share the Peace and Joy of Love. (9/1/08)
  • There Are No Heaven and Hell. (9/1/08)
Heaven and hell are concepts of human constructs of reward and punishment which serve only to guide our behavior. If we use heaven and hell to guide our behavior, then we are acting selfishly and not lovingly though the appearance may be loving. (9/1/08)
  • To Love Is to Act for the Peace and Joy for All. (9/6/08)
God created us to share with us the ecstasy of the peace and joy that comes with loving one another. That peace and joy comes from loving ourselves and others as one, not considering ourselves as separate from all. (9/6/08)
  • To Sin Is to Act in Ways that Undermine Love. (9/7/08)
If we sin, we undermine love, steal peace and joy from one another. That's it pure and simple. Sinning does not make us unworthy of God's love. It does not mean we are less of a person than others who sin less. Sin is not evil. Sin does not come from evil. Sin stems from our willing choice to place our needs above the needs of others. If God did not give us the potential to sin, then there could be no love because free will is part of the foundation of love. Without sin, there is no free will choice to choose love. (9/12/08)

  • God Loves Us with Unconditional Love. (9/4/08)
Therefore, no matter what we do, God will still love us; God will never judge us unworthy; God will always accept us equally and never put anyone above anyone else no matter how much we love or how much we sin. (9/7/08)
  • We Are of One Creation. (9/6/08)
God created all of us on this earth. We are here together as one creation living for the peace and joy of one another to the extent we do not act against one another. (10/21/08)
  • There Is No Absolute Right or Wrong. (9/8/08)
Absolute right or wrong means that God places absolute judgment on us. But, God does not judge us to be good or bad, holy or evil. God loves us unconditionally. God hopes for us to live lives of love so we may experience the ecstasies of his gifts of peace and joy. If we sin, that is not wrong or evil, it just means that we rob ourselves of God's gifts. (9/8/08)
  • We Have Free Will. (9/9/08)
This is purely a logical argument. If we do not have free will, then I didn't have a choice in making the statement so I couldn't have said otherwise. If we do have free will, then I have made a true statement. (9/9/08)
  • Love Requires Free Will and Affliction. (9/9/08)
The act of love is the giving of ones self for the peace and joy of all. If that love is not given freely, then there is no substance to it; we are merely automatons acting out God's bidding. If there is no affliction, then there is no need to give of ourselves, we are all already at peace. But, the free will act of giving of ourselves is the catalytic foundation for the ecstasy we experience in loving one another. (9/9/08)
  • Our Spirit Is the Impact We Have on One Another. (9/10/08)
Reality for each of us is only that which we perceive. Anything beyond our perception and beyond our reflection on our perceptions is beyond our reality. Therefore, the reality of my existence is only significant through the perception of others. If I am not perceived by others, then I have no external reality and no significance in the universe. I only exist if I have an impact on others. The essence of my impact is my spirit. (9/10/08)
  • We Are Immortal Through One Another. (9/10/08)
Because our reality is the impact we have on others, then the change imparted on others due to our impact on others perpetuates our spirit through them. Each of us is immortal because our spirit passes onto others through our impact on them. In the same way, each of us is the manifestation of the immortality of those that came before us because we are the recipients of the impacts of their spirits. (9/10/08)
  • Peace and Joy Only Come if Desired for All. (10/21/08)
We cannot find true peace and joy if we look for it only for ourselves. We can attain true peace and joy only if we seek it for all people and only desire it for all and not for our individual selves. (10/21/08)
  • Love Can not Be if there Is Hate (10/21/08)
If we hate one person, then we cannot love all. This is because we are all one, and to hate one is to hate all. Conversely, if we truly love one, then we love all and then cannot hate. (10/21/08)
  • To Judge Is to Sin (10/21/08)
If we judge someone else, then we are placing ourselves above another. This separates us from others and is a division from the body. But, if we are divided from the body, then that undermines love and that is sin. (10/21/08)
